Other Keys

ctrl+shift+Esc :

             These keys are used to open the Windows Task Manager window.

Alt+Enter :

             These keys are used to view the properties of selected icons/files/folders.

Alt+Spacebar :

             These keys are used to view the current Window's system menu.

Alt+Tab:

              Cycle through the currently open applications.

Alt+F4:

             Close the currently open applications

Shift+F10:

            These are useful to display the item's context menu. When you are pressing these keys, you can copy/cut/past or to change fonts,. etc.

Shit+Del:

            These are used to delete the files permanently. Once you deleted the files by using these keys, you won't replace the files again. Its a bypass deletion way.

Windows keys

win :-
      Windows symbol key is used to open the "Start Menu".

win+D :-
        This key is used to minimize all currently open applications/windows explorer . Press it again the current using applications/windows explorer will open.

win+ctrl+F :-
        These keys are used to open search for Network Computers Dialog Box.

win+E :-
        These keys are used to open a windows explorer file browser.

win+TAB :-
        These keys are used to cyclic the currently opened applications.

win+shift+tab :-
         These keys are used to view in cycle through programs in the taskbar in reverse order.

Function Keys

F1 :-
It is a Universal help key. When you are press the F1 key the File menu will open in all Microsoft based programs.


F2 :-
 It is used to rename the file/folder name.First you select the file/folder then you press the F2 key.After you can change the name.


F3 :-
This key is used to open a Find/search dialogue box.


F5 :-
It is used to refresh all the modern Browsers, reload the page/document.


F6 :- 
This key is used to switch between left and right panes and move the cursor to the address bar in web browsers.

F10 :-

This key is used to activate menu programs in all Microsoft based programs.

F11 :-

It is used to view full screen mode in all modern internet browsers. Press this key again to back the normal screen.

Backspace -  key in used to view the folder one level up.

Tab - key is used to move forward through option.
